In November of 2014, Monte Voepel installed 12 panels (30" x 30") to commemorate the branches of the armed services. They are located in an outdoor setting by the plaza in Socorro, New Mexico. Monte fabricated the panels from aluminum, using repousse and chasing techniques, then finished them with patinas that will hold up in the intense Southwest sun. His wife, Karlene Voepel, created the designs for the panels.
